Grandfather

There is some fantastic DT work this week over at Frosted Designs, grab yourself a hot cuppa and head on over and have a look around.

Also a fantastic prize from Little Red Cottage

My Grandfather was in WW1 from 1915 to 1919, he was 18 years of age. I don't think that I will ever understand why there is a need for war, I'm sure we were not put on this earth to hate another human that much that we hurt them. One day I might understand it, but for now I just don't, it takes so many loved ones away from us.

I never met my Grandfather, but he will hold a special place in my heart.

The large flower was made from my cricut and inked up with Walnut Stain. Iron gates from Dusty Attic, and KaiserCraft papers.
